In the last issue of “Discovery Central Asia” magazine #34, devoted to the subject of Silk Road in Central Asia, was published the article, written by the two members of “Avalon” historico-geographical society Oxana Shuptar and Michael Kamper: “Going south on the Great Silk Road, infused with the spirit of the age...”.

The authors tell about a short trip in the south of Kazakhstan through the cities of Taraz, Shymkent, Otrar and Turkestan, that were located along the ancient caravan route. You can read the article and a lot of other interesting materials here.
